After winning the toss, Bangladesh managed to score 256 runs at a cost of eight wickets. After losing three wickets in response, India chased down 261 runs in 41.3 overs to win the match. With a six to end the game, Virat Kohli achieved his 48th century in one-day international cricket.
Liton Das led Bangladesh in scoring with 66 runs, while Tamim Iqbal came in second with 51. With 46 runs, Mahmudullah contributed significantly, bringing the team’s total close to 250. Mushfiqur Rahim raised the total by 38 runs. Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, and Ravindra Jadeja each grabbed two wickets for India, while Kuldeep Yadav and Shardul Thakur each took one.
India’s star player, Virat Kohli, scored an undefeated 103 runs. In addition to Rohit Sharma’s 48 runs, Shubman Gill scored 53 runs. With an undefeated 34 runs, Lokesh Rahul also had a significant innings. Hasan Mahmud claimed one wicket while Mehidy Hasan claimed two for Bangladesh.
